Um, I didn't give too many people presents this year. But I'll give you guys one. You don't have to like it though. It's like when I gave my grandma cashews. She's allergic. So here's my favorite chapter to write in a very short book I call "Emma."…

Thanks for the comment, I like tackling heavy subjects. But this one is from personal experience. Matthew is her crush, I could say. Or her savior. I think I'll put up more. It's not meant to be really long. Just ten short chapters is enough to tell…

This is a pretty heavy topic. The last paragraph definitely has a lot of shocking reveals. What role did Matthew play? There's room for expanding should you choose to revisit this work again. Congrats on finishing this project.

I like listening to music while I write. It helps be concentrate and keep a consistent mood..well as consistent as I can get it. I once wrote a short screenplay listening to "Addict" by K's Choice. Keep on writing.

Once again, I have a new story idea. That'll be coming up soonish, I hope :) Does anyone else listen to music while they write. My inspiration songs are "One Man Wrecking Machine" By Guster, and "Exogenesis Symphony part 3" By Muse. Sorry, just a st…

Your English teacher's formula is completely solid as a basis, and it's really important to get that lesson down before moving on to messing around with it. Not every paragraph is going to get those points down, but it's a great frame of reference.…

Starting a new story is probably the most exciting part of writing. It's new, kinda like a crush or a cute new bf... or maybe that's just me... :) but the thing is with this new story is that it's always hard to finish. A little trick I do is i just…

sometimes working on a second project helps the first one. or sometimes like you said, it shows you that you like it far more. i'm just glad you're contributing another story, i love it when people put stuff here to see. (michael duhamel has been h…

i read the article i linked you to, which i've seen before but whew, it's interesting. i especially liked the part where the idea itself (and even my warning) was criticized. i think if you read it, it could help you as an author to develop your cha…

this is not a critique! more of a warning... i think it's interesting so far. better than i'd expect from a 13 year old writer sure, but that's not important. change what people think about 13 year old writers. oh the warning, right- read this. mak…

OK - so it took me a while to get around to responding to this. I think it's clearly a more intriguing read! How do you feel about it now that you've made some changes?
May 20, 2009
hiii, i just read your first page and just as a reader myself, i really liked it! especially the part with the boy with the "cobalt" eyes. Since you used cobalt instead of a word so plain like blue, it made them like.. more vibrant and i think that'…

Happy Late Christmas...

Um, I didn't give too many people presents this year.
But I'll give you guys one.
You don't have to like it though. It's like when I gave my grandma
cashews. She's allergic.
So here's my favorite chapter to write in a very short book
I call "Emma." Sorry for wasting your bandwidth.

Chapter 7

It is Thanksgiving Break. Yay.

Matthew won’t look at me, or at least he cries every time he does. That’s me, the girl who makes people cry from one measly lo… Continue

Er,

I've been working on my latest project and I've actually finished it.
This is only my first draft, the story in relatively short. Only ten short chapters.
I'm going to show you guys the last chapter, it gives some information on the whole
story. I guess I'll put the rest up later. God, I'm depressed for tackling this subject. Now,
this chapter's actually the shortest, they're all longer than this :D

Chapter 10

What more do you expect from me?

Once again, I have a new story idea. That'll be coming up soonish, I hope :)
Does anyone else listen to music while they write. My inspiration songs are
"One Man Wrecking Machine" By Guster, and "Exogenesis Symphony part 3" By Muse.
Sorry, just a stupid update.
