I like listening to music while I write. It helps be concentrate and keep a consistent mood..well as consistent as I can get it. I once wrote a short screenplay listening to "Addict" by K's Choice. Keep on writing.

New Excerpt of "On Stand By"

In my current edit my editor asked me to insert a scene that explains why my main character Sara decides to stay with her lover in Japan. This is the scene. Admittedly, this scene was difficult to write but I'm very glad that I was made to explore this part of her life.

I slumped on my bed with my head hanging off of the side, so the blood rushed to my head. I felt cold and numb staring at the ceiling. The only noise I hear is the thought of Bobby’s cold gaze as he walked away in my hea… Continue

Fate, destiny, chance?

I've been at a crossroad for sometime now. And the thought of whether fate, destiny and chance pops into my mind every now and then. I'm curious what your thoughts are. How much do you leave to destiny, if any? Does chance have anything to do with it? It can't just be luck or at least I hope not because I'm not the luckiest person out there. Or in the end will fate run it course and lead you to where your supposed to be. What does that even mean?

Fully Recovered

So it's been almost 2 weeks since the 3 day novel contest. I know we're all sick of hearing about it now...but I thought I stick my two pence in anyway. :) Overall, I still feel that the contest is for crazy people. It was intense, sitting a writing for 3 days straight drove me mad. By Monday afternoon, I became delirious with the story and angry when it had decided to finish not even halfway through to 100 pages. I stalked around my laptop reasoning with it, trying to understand why it had to e… Continue

my bio

Alright new dilemma is writing my own bio. I've only really had to do this once before. It took me a week to write a paragraph. I don't know what to write. If I were to character sketch myself I don't think I would have a problem but this is more like presenting myself and I feel at a loss for words.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the comment. My fiance has been telling me the same thing. But I don't ever listen I just try to do my own work but I just get stuck sometimes as well. But thanks for the comment and I will now just work on my book bit by bit. I am also an Avon Representative which I just now started last Saturday the 14th. Thanks for your advice.
